New to the FeelGood Fibers Community? Welcome! We’ve put together this handy guide to walk you through how to list fabric on FeelGood Fibers. We’ve broken the process down into 3 simple steps. Let’s get started!

Step One: Photos

The first step is to take listing photos. Log in and head to your Store Manager. Hover your cursor over “Listings”, and click on “Add New.” Click on the box with the grey mountain and upload your photos. We suggest 1-3 photos that clearly show the color, print and texture of a fabric to the buyer. Need more photography tips? Step Two: Details

Now that your photos are uploaded, it’s time to get descriptive! The more information you can provide to buyers, the better! Here’s what buyers need to know:

1. What kind of fabric are you selling?

This is the title of your listing. In a few short words, describe it. For example, if you are listing a yard of Rifle Paper Co. fabric, add a title such as “1 yard of Rifle Paper Co. Les Fleur in Rayon.”

2. Listing Price

Name your listing price. Be sure to include the cost of shipping in your listing price!

3. Category of Fabric

From the drop down menu, indicate what category of fabric your listing falls into — quilting cotton, rayon, canvas, organic, linen, etc.

4. Brand

Choose the brand of fabric from the drop down menu. FeelGood Fibers is for the sale of quilt-store quality fabrics only.

5. Colors

Select the colors that can be found in your fabric. Choose all that apply.

6. Quantity

What is the size of the fabric are you selling? You can select from yardage, scrap bags, bundles and smaller cuts.

7. Descriptive Tags

You can add any descriptive tags that apply: novelty, plaids, dots, floral, etc.

8. Short Description 

In the short description you can let your inner quilt-shop owner shine! Describe the fabric to buyers in any way you’d like. Talk about specific details, particularly if there are any irregularities or damage to the fabric.

9. Submit

Once you hit “Submit”,  your listing it will be published to the FeelGood Fibers site! You can find it under “Recently Listed” on the home page or by search. You can also find all of your listings in your own Store. Congratulations!

Step 3: Share

Now it’s time to share! We promote as many listings as we can on Instagram, on Facebook and in our newsletter. But the more publicity the better, as FGF is still new and growing! So go ahead and spread the word! And now go ahead and make your second, third or twentieth listing!
