I’m not a business and don’t want to become one. Does being a vendor classify me as being in business, when I’m only trying to reduce my personal fabric stash?
Signing up as a vendor on FeelGood Fibers does not make you a business, legally or otherwise. It simply gives you a place to list your destash items, no different from selling on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or at a local swap meet. The platform is just the venue.
If you ever have questions about your specific tax situation, a quick chat with an accountant is always the safest bet, but simply listing items on a marketplace site does not change your status as an individual seller.
